Everyone knows that it's a good thing to be "found" in the search engines when someone goes online looking for your particular product or service. But with only ten spots available on the first page of most search engines (and the fact that searches these days return thousands of results), what can be done to increase the odds that your business name shows up on the first page?
If you ever wondered what really goes on "behind the scenes" at search engines like Google, Yahoo, Ask and MSN but have been afraid to ask, this session will be perfect for you. We'll talk about what you can do to increase the "attractiveness" of your website to the search engines - which means making sure your website is attractive to VISITORS first. The good news is this session will NOT be technical in nature, but will discuss the evolution of search, where it is today and what some of the likely changes will be as the search engines continue to refine their "selection process" to determine who gets good rankings - and who gets left behind.
This session will feature SEO experts from WSI Internet Consulting and SocialMindz, one of the premier providers of search and social media optimization for website owners. After our 60 minutes together you'll come away with a better understanding of what you'll need to to do increase the odds that your website will come up the next time someone goes online to look for what you do.

Not to harp too much on Jeff because I thought you guys did a good job, but does he memorize that entire spiel at the beginning, or just write it out and read from it? Its quite lengthy. :)

Hi Marc, thanks for the comment. Nope... I don't write out the spiel. The only part that might be considered scripted is my "who and do what statement." That is always the same.
I do like to mention the afternoon guest on BankTalkRadio.net, which takes a minute or so.
I'll see if I can be more succinct in my introduction.
Thanks again for the feedback!
Jeff
