With the simplicity and ease of use that comes along with blogging and all the social media sites these days, almost anyone can create their own voice on the Internet and tell the world what they are thinking. While most of the time this is a good thing, what if someone decides to go online and start bad-mouthing your business online? Would you even know if this is going on, and if so, what would you do about it?
In this session of Free Webinar Wednesdays we'll be joined by one of Eric's WSI colleagues from "across the pond", Martin Duncan. Residing in the UK, Martin will bring an international flair to the discussion of online reputation management and what he's doing with some of his clients to help monitor the "Internet chatter" and know what's being said online.
Even if your organiztion doesn't see any reason to be "tweeting" or have their own Facebook page at this point, one thing you should NOT be doing is ignoring this powerful medium. Social media is all about the conversation between people and even if you don't want to "talk", you should at least make sure you're "listening" to what's being said.
