Let's set the stage. Here are some stats that you may not realize...
- Text Messaging is the primary form of communication for people ages 13-34
- 86% of the population 13 and up has a cell phone
- 95% of existing cell phone contracts have TXT/SMS built into the agreement
- Over 90% of text messages are opened and read (compared to less tahn 40% of all e-mail solicitations)
- There were 95.4 BILLION text messages sent by U.S. mobile users in 2008
Given these statistics and the short attention span of today's consumer (and the number of advertising messages we get on a daily basis), text message marketing stands to become the next wave of future marketing. It's affordable, efficient and so far has been working effectively in a variety of different industries.
In this Free Webinar Wednesday session we'll be joined by the CEO of KaOoga! Mobile, Dave Everett. Prior to founding KaOoga! Mobile, Dave was the CEO for a company called AdsOnFeet, a wearable flat-screen TV, which he sold in 2008 and then started KaOoga! Mobile. Dave will share with us some of the insights to mobile text message marketing, some of the details of how it works and share examples from clients that have been successful in getting their message across to consumers when other means had failed.
If you are looking for a new and innovative way to reach your customers in 2010, this session will present you with some excellent ideas. We look forward to having you join us!
