How many times have you heard the famous phrase, “the check is in the mail” when you were expecting a payment from someone? It could have been from a customer or someone who personally owes you money, but since checks are still a trusted and relied upon way of sending money remotely, that phrase is all too familiar for many (especially if you were supposed to get the money quickly). Sure, with online banking and bill payment services the process has been simplified, but did you realize that a majority of “billpay” payments are still the traditional paper check and being mailed from a processing facility? The only difference is that you’re not the one writing the paper check, putting it in the envelope, adding a stamp and dropping it in the mail box. That’s all about to change… for the better!
During this week’s Free Webinar Wednesdays we’ll have Paul Doyle, the CEO and founder of a revolutionary new service called VerifyValid. Users of the VerifyValid system are able to quickly create an “electronic check” and send money to anyone (even if the recipient doesn’t even have a bank account) by delivering a check via e-mail (or even SMS text message) that can be verified online and cashed (just like a “regular check”). This is the first upgrade to the traditional check in several hundred years and stands to revolutionize how payments are made (and received) between individuals, businesses, non-profits and anyone else who wants to make or accept payments.
So tune in this week and we look forward to your comments and questions. We think you’ll agree the VerifyValid system is pretty slick and once you become a user, you too will be able to say “the check is in the e-mail” (and you can save you stamps for greeting cards).
