Jeff Simpkins, Book Yourself Solid Certified Coach – President & CEO, Community Bank Consulting, Inc.
Jeff Simpkins is a Book Yourself Solid Certified Coach. He was personally trained by Michael Port and is passionate about working with community banks and small businesses to help them reach the clients they are meant to serve. Jeff likes to say he helps others find "work that feels like play."
Business has been a lifelong passion for Jeff, working on his first start up business in 1985. He began working with community banks in 1990 when he joined First South Bank in Burlington, NC. He has continued his work with banks and entrepreneurial ventures throughout his career. His entrepreneurial work has focused heavily around residential real estate and service related businesses.
Jeff is an avid learner and has been fortunate to personally work with such well known modern teachers as Jack Canfield, co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series and branded products, and New York Times bestselling author John Assaraf, in addition to Book Yourself Solid bestselling author Michael Port.
In 2008, Jeff founded Community Bank Consulting, Inc., a company that helps community financial institutions integrate people, process, and technology.
Jeff was introduced to the work of Michael Port as a result of a friend hearing Michael deliver a keynote address. Jeff made a personal connection with Michael before the release of his first book, Book Yourself Solid. Jeff used the methods described in Book Yourself Solid to build a client base for Community Bank Consulting, Inc. and works with community banks in using the model to grow their business at little or no additional marketing costs.
