During a recent Twitter exchange between FWW co-founder @EricCook and one of his star PCBS banking pupils @10TONYD (Tony Dickinson), the two discussed an article from the folks over at Buffer that shared 20 new social media tools to try in 2017. There were some great new tools on there we had not heard of before and thought it would be a good idea to take some of them for a test drive and talk about them on the show. So, being the consummate squirrel chaser (and always one to try something new), Eric convinced Tony into taking a break from his "banking duties" and joining Jeff and him this week for the conversation.
As this infographic shows (and this is four years old), there certainly are not any shortages when it comes to social media tools. Some last, many more fade away over time, but you never know which one(s) will stick around. But as more people rely on social media sites for connecting, relationship building, word of mouth referrals and simply getting things done... having the right tools in your toolbox is a plus when you want to be as efficient as you possibly can.
Check out the list of tools found at the article linked above and bring your comments and questions to the show. We'd love to hear which one(s) on the list of 20 are of interest to you. We'll be sure to share our top picks as well and what our plans are for incorporating them into our social media efforts in the year ahead.
