Most of us are familiar with ways to track and monitor how people find our websites online and engage with is over the Internet. We can send e-mail newsletters and track open rates and click-through activity. Google Analytics tracks keywords used in the search engines and even what sites are referring traffic to us.
But, what about the "good 'ole" telephone? What happens when someone just picks up the phone and gives us a call? Is there any way to determine just where these folks are coming from (and how to make our phone ring with more business)?
Good news is the answer is YES. During this week's Free Webinar Wednesdays, Eric and Jeff will be joined by Pierre Droira, senior account executive with a company called IfByPhone, Inc. Pierre and his company specialize in helping businesses track telephone usage through a variety of channels and will be sharing some of the strategies and methods that a business can implement a process to start tracking when someone picks up the phone, where they came from.
As the saying goes, you can measure what you are not monitoring... and while e-mail and online forms are still a popular way to contact a business, there's something about hearing a voice on the other end that will help to ensure the telephone will be here for the long-haul. This session will help to reveal some ways that you can be sure you're getting the most out of your marketing and promotional efforts and can do more of what you need to do and get your phone ringing with business!
