An earthquake in Virginia. Hurricane flooding on the East Coast. Raging fires across Texas... Seems Mother Nature has been a bit on the "grumpy side" lately and natural disasters are becoming something that more businesses are now starting to sit up and take notice of. But, it doesn't take an "act of God" like a natural disaster to cause a business to go down.
Innocent "human error" can just as quickly render a network useless, disable your phone system or take out e-mail communication - cutting off that valuable connection to your customers and the outside world. What should a business owner do to prepare for these types of events, and more importantly, position themselves to recover as quickly as possible?
For this week's session Eric and Jeff will be Joined by Steve Lassig, CEO of First Hour, Inc. They specialize in helping businesses not only prepare for the unexpected, but can put in place the infrastructure to help a business recover quickly and communicate to staff, employees, vendors and anyone else that needs to be informed when there is a crisis.
During his presentation, Steve will share some of the lessons learned, resources that are available for business owners and tips on ways that you can prepare your business for the "unexpected". If you cannot afford to be "down" (and what business can), this is a session you won't want to miss.
