With recent announcements by Apple, it's looking like they have Google in their crosshairs and are putting plans in place to take on the world's #1 search giant, Google. Spotlight search, built into the operating system, already is a quick and easy way to search your Mac for files, but did you know that it's now extending its reach to the web?
With personal assistants growing in popularity (such as Siri, Google Now and even Microsoft's Cortana), the more your device knows about you, the more helpful the suggestions and results you'll get. While Google has always been clear about using your information from Gmail, calendar and search history to ensure Google Now is as personalized as possible, Apple has never been one to access your personal information. This week we'll have our "Mac buddy" Gregory McPherson joining Eric and Jeff to discuss the issue and take your questions. Plus, there's a good chance Greg will also bring along some ideas for "cool gadgets" in addition to his thoughts on the evolution of the Apple brand.
