This week on the show I spent some time revisiting recordings from the past several weeks that had been lamenting on my computer, but not uploaded to the Free Webinar Wednesdays website. During the updating process, I got an opportunity to go back through the shows and it was fun to relive what I had talked about over the last month.
I encourage you to scroll down and check out some of the shows if you weren't able to join me live. You will learn some things about LinkedIn polls, creative tools for image and video creation for sites like TikTok and Instagram, the power of a Facebook group to bring like-minded people together in their own community, and even reasons for embracing a video strategy to tell your story and answer your customer and prospect questions on YouTube
For the rest of the show, I shared initial information from Instagram's official blog on a new service that they're rolling out called Reels. You can check out their official blog post on the release information, and certainly would suggest doing your own internet search to find other articles from 3rd party platforms offering more objective reviews of the service.
From what I can tell thus far, it's still very much in early stages with limited video capability of only 15 seconds and not nearly the discoverability and engagement leader of what TikTok has created. That doesn't mean, however, that this is a platform you shouldn't be paying attention to. If anything, I would suggest you set aside some time to learn about the platform and get comfortable with its functions. This way as new features are added you can grow with it over time.
Thanks to those of you that joined the show live. I'll look forward to seeing you next week!
